What does a title company do? |
Once a contract for sale has been written, your title company coordinates with all of the parties involved (buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders) the date and time tha the legal transaction takes place. The title company initiates the title search and examines the title for any defects and verifies that all liens and taxes are satisfied. We order any certifications required by law or the lenders. We prepare documents for closing and/or lenders. |
